This Central Hall calligraphy presents Zhang Ji’s Tang dynasty poem “Mooring by Maple Bridge at Night.” The imagery of setting moon, crows, frost, riverside lights, and the midnight bell from Hanshan Temple creates a quiet, contemplative atmosphere.
